Flu Vaccinations

NHS flu vaccination services offer free seasonal flu vaccines to eligible individuals, including those over 65, pregnant women, and people with certain health conditions, aiming to reduce the risk of flu outbreaks and complications.
In contrast, private flu vaccination services provide the vaccine for a fee, allowing anyone who wants to receive it—regardless of eligibility criteria—to do so, often with more flexible scheduling and convenience. You can also pay to have your vaccination privately if you are not eligible for or do not want the free service.
Flu vaccinations can be given at the same time as COVID-19 jabs for most people. NHS eligibility criteria for free COVID-19 jabs are the same as those for free flu jabs. Please visit our COVID-19 vaccinations page more information on COVID-19 jabs.
